Josh's Sporty
This bike came to us as a fairly stock 1200 Sportster via a
dude named Josh. Josh had a clear vision for the project from the
beginning as to what he wanted and we were definitely on the same page with him.
First off, the front end was swapped out to a Nightster front end off of
his brother Billy's bike. We de-spoked and powder coated the rear rim and
hub to match the front wheel from the Nightster, putting both front and rear
on Avon white wall tires. The engine side covers, rocker box tops, foot
controls and other misc. parts also got finished in black powder coat. We
made brackets for the front of the gas tank to raise it up a couple inches to
give it a Frisco look. We also made the exhaust, and license plate
bracket. The fender struts were cut down and the rear fender was chopped
down and rolled forward. This thing is a total beast on the road.
Keeping the rear shocks and stock frame geometry make for a great handling bike.
Thought it may ride like stock, it sure doesn't look it.
